DISCOVERY TRIP

OVERVIEW:
The Discovery Trip is a relaxed off-road adventure combining scenic riding, authentic countryside stays and the best of Transylvania’s food and wine.

We will ride a variety of terrain, including gravel roads, grass and forest trails, but without technical sections. The trip includes TWO overnights away from the base, staying in carefully selected UNESCO World Heritage locations and rural retreats.

The riding is relaxed, leaving plenty of time to enjoy the places we visit, and good food and wine are an important part of the experience.

DURATION:
• 4 nights / 3 days riding — TWO overnights away from the base, riding different trails each day.

RIDING SEASON:
From April to November.

ACCOMMODATION:
Local guest houses and hotels.

DIFFICULTY:
Beginner

TERRAIN:
100–150 km a day, approximately 95% off-road. Daily mileage is subject to group ability, progress and weather conditions.

SCHEDULE AND ITINERARY:
The itinerary below is a general format and may change depending on flight schedules, weather conditions and the group's riding ability.

• [4 Nights Trip] — TWO overnights away from the base

Day 1 — Airport pick-up and guided tour of Sibiu. Lunch or dinner in the city centre, followed by transfer to the base.

Day 2 — Ride to our first overnight at a UNESCO World Heritage site, with accommodation in a rural retreat.

Day 3 — Ride new trails to our second overnight location. Bonfire night.

Day 4 — Ride back to the base. Farewell dinner.

Day 5 — End of trip and transfer to the airport.
